McCain blinks.

Holy shit... Is this a sign of surrender? Does McShame realize the ass he was making of himself, while not only fighting a losing battle, but in doing so making Gen Geo Custer look like a tactical genius. Fuck...

He never cut anyone off and disputed Hillary being a bitch, did he?

But today, when a woman who had his mike talked about Obama being an Arab, Johnny Surge shook his head, took the mike and told the crowd that Obama was a good citizen.

Later on, he said he was a good family man...

He said he was a decent human being...

What will be next?

Obama loves the troops? ???

The Press has a Liberal Bias? ???

So you still believe that horseshit?

I'm sitting here watching the War Room or Race for the White House or some such show on MSNBC. You know, the most corrupt, left wing network there is, acording to O'Lielly. Well, the fuckers, and I don't mean Pat Buchanon, I think it was David Gregory, is falling in line with the load-of-shit line started by Olberman the other night, about Barack Obummer "Standing up to the left."

Damn these asswipes. The Mother fucker sold us out. There's simply no other way to put it. And by the way...

We ARE the left. We ARE liberals. We are Democrats. This is praiseworthy? That Obumms would stand AGAINST his party? His beliefs? What the Fuck!?!?!

This election is his to lose and he's off top a fucking great start if losing it is what he wants to do.

There's a pissing match going on between Glenn Greenwald and Olberman over this and I have to say, I'm really disappointed in KO. I could not believe when Jonathon Alter got on there and said something about this FISA monstrosity actually being in line with the constitution. It does NOT and they both knew that. Obummer knows that, and some does Ms Hillybilly.

They need to get their asses back to DC for the vote that's now scheduled for July 8.

Pins? What Pins?

Nicole Belle over at C&L points out that neither McCunt nor Stephalupugus are wearing those American flag lapel pins that are so all fucking fired important and are the only tried and true acceptable method of showing one's patriotism and loyalty. Now I have to give credit where credit is due:

Over at Fucks News Sunday with Chris Wallace, the human shar pei, Brit Hume, and token black/liberal, Juan Williams, were wearing theirs but not Wallace, not the chick (whoever she was) not even uber neocon doofsayer Bill Kristol. If anyone has their dick on the pulse of what's important to the country, he would, wouldn't he?

So what the fuck gives? Why the fucking hour long investigation into bullshitology?

I'm waiting for someone to admit that newscasts that involve "News," are history; that they've become businesses plain and simple; just as corrupt as any other business.

So the Gibson-Stephalupuguss Mudpie Exhibition was all about them and not about Clinton, Barack, and certainly not about the future of this country and its citizens. No, no no. They got exactly what they wanted: Attention for themselves and their network. They know that even negative attention has its own value.

Just like my 8 year old grandmonster knows.

And the lapel pins? I really don't give a flying fuck at the moon whether Barack wears one or not. Wearing one, or not, doesn't prove jack shit about a person's character. Now then...

I've finally heard Thom Hartmann, these past few weeks, begin to say what I've believed all along: This prolonged, primary pissing match between Barack and Hillary, is nothing more than the major networks'/media's money making circus side-show. The longer it goes on, the more money they make. That's what they care about; that's ALL they care about. Fuck us, right?

When will we begin to hear the cowardly lions of media begin to explain just how insane McCunt's economic ideas are? ???

When Assholes Reproduce

A H/T to Forty Two from whom I stole this title as well as a H/T to Firestarter from whom I got the link to Forty Two's post. I think I first heard about this while listening to Ed Shultz a few days ago.

There's plenty of sickness here to go around and I'm not going to exclude myself either. Face it, these punks were out to claim their 15 minutes of fame by recording and posting this. That's plenty sick. Shultz and FT both talk about the parents who spawned and raised these little sicklings and instilled them with sick values. FS talks about sites like AOL playing both sides: Talking about how sick the video is and how it maybe should not be posted, and then posting the damn thing so googlers can find them.

And now here I am. I suppose I should do my part in trying to let the thing die, but I have my own (worthless?) excuse for not doing so and that's this:

Assholes Reproducing and whether or not they should be allowed to do so.

There's a lot to consider there. For one: Who decides who's an asshole?

How do we pick that "who?" What rules do they follow. If you look at Dubya's appointments, Holy Fuck... We'd have only the worst of the worst assholes chosen to preside. Christopaths, torturers, ideologues... Basically, anyone Keith Olberman would be proud to include as Worst Person in the World.

Who would McCunt pick? People certainly as bad as Dubya's choices.

Hillary? People who hate Obama for having the temerity to take HER office from her. The nerve of that uppity house N.....ever mind.

What about Dennis Kucinich? Hmmm... I wonder if Shirley McClain and all the others who sat around at that gathering when he saw the UFO would be on the board? His wife maybe?

As I consider all this, I have to confess that I'm really not fit, and never was, to be a parent. Kids just flat out bug me. I was all ready to start on a post a while ago and then the grandmonster came in and harshed my buzz by getting all squeally and squeazy with the Mini Dachs... I wanted to ring his neck for basically doing nothing more than being a kid. Speaking of the grandmonster: Would he even exist under the Asshole Reproduction Control Board's scrutiny? I doubt it, considering his Dad/sperm donor. His mom might stand a chance of passing as breeding stock, but that's questionable.

I know, I know, it takes more to get licensed to do nails and color hair. Oh but there's dangerous chemicals involved. Like the ammonia, bleach and detergent, not to mention the home perm kits found under many a sink? In a way it makes sense to license human breeders, but be careful for what you ask:

Despite my unfitness, I might still pass considering my IQ, education, income, etc. God help us if that would've happened.

Party Poopers?

That's the title to a column here in the PI by Robert L Jamieson on Monday. I've heard of this shit before, but in light of some of McCain's latest broadsides from his Senile Express.... I've fucking had enough.

Jamieson goes into a long description of this chick and her background as a Jewish Liberal, blah blah blah, but then she says that if Hillary's not on the ballot, she'll vote for McCain. I read that and I'm like, Whoa Bitch, you listening to yourself? You're willing to put another 4 years of Bush on the country, because....? Why again? ??? Well there's this shit:

His pitch riles her -- what she sees as his inability to offer concrete policies beyond buzzwords like "change."

"My big concern is Social Security," Frooman said. "I haven't heard him say much about that."

well, Jonny Mac certainly offers concrete.... concrete. He's a cement head. He admits to knowing nothing about economics, and has basically turned all that stuff over to Phil Graham, who makes Reagan look like an amateur when it comes to deregulating and letting industry have their way. He likes Dubya's plans to destroy Social Security too. So we can save it.

And there's more...:

There's also the issue of the resume. Obama has held his seat in Congress for three years, compared with Clinton's seven.

Clinton's Beltway tenure -- not including an eight-year turn as First Lady -- has seasoned her to deal with the snake pit of D.C. and enabled her to bridge party lines, Frooman said.

"Experience counts for something," she argued.

This "experience" argument makes my fucking blood boil. She has "Government experience" from being a first lady to a governor and a president? Besides fucking him,
we assume,
just WHAT did she do? Seriously, WHAT? Why not put Nancy Reagan up for office?

Seriously.

WHY not?

Ohhhhhh.... Nancy's not a senator. Back to "experience"...

Lots of people have experience.

Tom Delay

David Vitter

Newt Gingrich

Larry Craig

Duke Cunningham

There's Good experience, and there's Bad experience. When I sat through my education classes I came across a quote from James.... oh fuck that's his last name... anyway,

Supposedly some lady was trying to make a point to him and she told him that she'd taught for "x" number years. His response was to ask had she taught "x" number of classes, or one class "x" number of times?

Experience at doing the wrong thing, no matter how many times, how many years, doesn't count. Keep defending that Iraq War vote Hills. The only reason to defend the indefensible is that you believed in the original indefensible position: You wanted the fucking war, for some damn reason.

I haven't written to (her through) the PI, and I doubt there's any reason to:

Frooman remains unmoved. "I'm not voting this way because I'm endorsing the Republicans," she said. "I'm just so annoyed with the Democrats."

And the next time you don't like what you see in the mirror, do you cut yourself or break the mirror? Oh hell, nuke it from orbit; it's the only way to be sure, Right?

A vote for McCain, is exactly that.

Ms Frooman, there's a word for people like you:

MORON.

There's other words, but they're not nice like that one.

Another Thing that'll Make You Go Hmmmm....

Got this from Dale the other day and I have to say I find the coincidence(s)? fascinating. To think for one that all these ... well fuck. You read it and decide for yourselves if it's strange or not:

Many of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a
little over 60 years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and other federal Agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine months after that historic day, the following
people were born:

Albert A. Gore, Jr.
Hillary Rodham Clinton
John F. Kerry
William J. Clinton
Howard Dean
Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Charles E. Schumer
Barbara Boxer

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep?

CLEARLY someone out there is NOT following the Prime Directive as we know it.

Just as clearly, someone is not happy with our (lack of) democratic leadership, and one of them would be, Dale. I guess it just shows that advanced technology and intelligence can't solve the basic problem of Conservatism. Actually...

Even more clearly...

Sheep genes or no...

Feinstein was a looker in her prime and I'd still do a tumble with either Boxer or Pelosi (come on guys, you would too), so there seems to be definite advantages to incorporating alien DNA into our own. OK...

nothing's foolproof...

Bill and Chris M can have Hillary.

Billy and Barack, Sittin' in a Tree?

R-U-N-N-I-N-G ? together? ???

Seems like it wasn't all that long ago that Bill Richardson had his nose stuck up Hillary's skirt as far as Chris Matthews wished he could get his. Like the debate where John Edwards brought up a part of Hillary's voting record, and Hillary accused him of slinging mud. Richardson jumped right in there, ready to pick her up while she stumbled in her argument since Edwards was correct in every respect and she knew she had no ground on which to stand. Even though I don't remember Richardson ever attacking Barack, I don't remember him defending him ever either. So what does the Richardson endorsement reeeeeeally mean?

He believes that Hillary is toast. (or should be) He believes she should step aside for Barack. For the sake of unity and party? I'm not so sure. I used to believe FIRMLY that he wanted to be Hillary's VP, regardless of his saying not. He's no fool; he's been around the block a few times; he can read the tea leaves. He knows that IF he's going to be a VP, it WON'T be with her.

Of course all this wondering assumes that Chimperor Dubya the Nukuler and his sidekick Darth are going to allow elections at all.

Things are squirrelly, once again. Oh hell, in whose life are things NOT squirrelly these days with Dubster and the Refuckyoucans on top of the economic disaster they've enabled. Just gives you the warm and fuzzies when he says he's not going to do anything to endanger the long term health of the economy. Right. Like having scalding beer foam pumped up your ass.

Gotta move and sell the house, since Mummsy-in-law is gone, which means looking for a new place. Hate moving. Especially out of what's likely the nicest house in which I'll ever live. Really sucks dead donkey dick. I'll have to figure out how to post some pics of the view we have here. Fucking gorgeous. Trying to see the bright side: We can get The Republican paid off and send him packing to someplace like Mississippi where he'll be more at home. Maybe get a few months of life free from Ms Thing too. The wife'll miss the grandmonster, but while his mom is feeding him frozen PB&J sandwiches, the pups'll get to sleep with both eyes closed.

Oh and then there's March Madness. Firestarter isn't too impressed by our tradition, but I damn near live for it. Especially the first two days and the upsets. I fell in love with the whole shebang back when Gonzaga knocked off Stanford and made it to the round of eight. FS likes it too; check the link and you'll see he filled out his bracket. When I get mine filled out, I'll try to post it too. I ran out of chicken blood and insence, so I'm not done yet.

The end result of all this is that I won't be posting very consistently. Not that I ever did. Unless all my picks get bounced in the first round. Maybe I shouldn't pick anyone. Fuck it.

OK

Obama

Hell of a speech today. I only heard blurbs, and missed the Fucks News BS, so I'm not sure just how awesome it really was. The more O'Lielly and Vannity hate it, the better it is. Thing is, that when Hills open her mouth I usually hate her more than I did before. When Barack opens his mouth, I actually feel more comfortable with the though of him as President. The guy really seems to think. Novel idea in this day and age of polls and focus groups. Someone called in to Big Ed today and said something about Barack having answered the 3 AM phone call with this speech. Good analogy.

Summbitch is so cool, I'd bet he pisses ice water. Shit gets thrown at him and he just does not get rattled. What impressed me the most was his talking about his Mom, and how she voiced her fears of black men looking at her on the street and her occasional racist remark. This woman raised him, and he doesn't denounce her or distance himself from her. Even though he does not embrace her fears or remarks, he acknowledges that she is a part of him.

He's learned from his life's experiences.

Experiences that the sheltered and privileged don't have.

Deny, denounce, repudiate and distance yourself from everyone and everything you (or your focus groups) find offensive and pretty soon you're a one person leper colony. My wife voted for Dino Rossi. My Mom and sister voted for Dubya at least once each. There's more to those people than just those instances, just as I'm sure there's more to Barack's former pastor than the sound bites leaked by Fucks Noise and friends.

Barack is hoping that we understand that.

Maybe next time Hillary gives her tantrumish endorsement of McInsane, she'll include this speech along with his one from 2002. ya think?

WTF? ???

I haven't posted here since Tuesday? Shit; I'm losing it. Fear not though loyal readers... all 12-17 of you... I'm not pulling another month long hiatus. So...

What was the name of the old TV show, the $64,000 Question? The $64,000,000 Question? Anyway, the big question, MY big question, that I want some wastoid of a so-called journalist/pundit to ask of our bottom-of-the-barrel, weekend-leftover, freak-show-survivor, Preznitial candidates is this:

What will you do as preznit to restore the Constitution and rule of law to this country?

Habeas Corpus. Separation of powers. Three EQUAL branches of government. The Dubster/Cheney/Rove/Yoo idea of the "Unitary Executive Branch." Rule of signing statement / line item veto/preznitial-Decree-from-the-Crapper. Basically, I want to know what Hilly and/or Barry plan to do to undo the damage these crime lords have done to this country.

I also want to know:

What plans do you have for John Edwards in your administration?

I don't want to see him as a VP. I think he'd make a great Attorney General or Supreme Court justice. Nonetheless, the first question is by far more important. I just wonder when the fuck one of those overpaid, overhyped, overpromoted, nimrods is going to have the balls to ask it. And yes, I include Keith Olberman in the mix. And while I'm at it, let's not forget the dollfaced refugees from the beauty circuit. No reason one of them can't ask, and justify all the bitching for equality, eh?

The Plundering of My Virginity or...

I did my first caucus yesterday. Whoopty Fuckin' Do. My precinct shook out pretty much like the whole state did. Of our six alloted delegates, we sent 4 for Barack and 2 for Hillary. I did have some thoughts about being a hard core undecided and maybe that way move along in the process and get to inject an issue or two, like say TRUE universal health care as opposed to the Faux brands out there in Mittsachussetts. Mandated/forced coverage is NOT universal. When it comes time to choose between food on the table or an insurance card in your pocket, people WILL choose to eat, and risk the fines imposed. Kucinich and Edwards had the best ideas, but as I've cried before, they're gone. Anyway...

I went with Barack.

Even though he's incredibly naive, thinking Refuck/conservative/corporate entities actually have any intent of cooperating or agreeing to anything but their ideas lock, stock and barrel.

I hope he proves me wrong. He is after all a very inspiring speaker. Maybe he'll be able to convince some of them that there is an entity out their more important than themselves. That would be the country... this one... the USA... and that perhaps giving up and giving back just a wee tad bit of their amassed fortune for the benefit of that country will in the end return to them with interest. Hop on my knee... story time..:

A couple of weeks before my mother in law's last, we had a guy at work come down with viral spinal meningitis. Now it's viral,so anti-biotics don't do shit for you. You just gotta ride it out. Well, we do have insurance, through the company/union, but we don't have sick days. So... the Mother fucker has to come to work sick, cuzz he can't afford to stay home and get better. LUCkily no one else came down with it, but a couple of us came down with nasty-assed-fucking colds that may have been weakened versions or related somehow. I missed 3 days, and my MIL is gone.

Because Morons like the Republican -- the other brother in law -- and his ilk, believe that ANYthing that goes to benefit the 90% that's in charge of 10% of the country's wealth, is a hand out -- although he's always looking for ways to get his meds for free, huh..? -- we lose shit loads of man hours and productivity because of secondary illnesses. Illness spread by people who can't afford to stay home and get better. Whoa....

oh yeah... caucuses...

Like I say, it was a first for me. Fairly simple really. We started out with 9 out of 72 people being undecided, but in the end they all declared. I think they went about 7-2 or 8-1 Obama. Then we chose real people to be delegates and alternates, with no whining, crying, pissing or moaning actually. A couple of people who offered themselves stepped back to allow some who reeeeeeeeally wanted the positions. Since I was going for the lesser evil, I could not, did not, try to become a delegate. There's a second round of caucuses in the next few weeks to choose delegates to the statewide convention, where they will then choose the delegates that move on the the national convention.

Did I mention that in the meantime we will also have a primary, complete with ballots and Diebold readers. Supposedly don't mean fuckall, but we're having it. Maybe I'll go cast a vote for Kucinich. Several of us actually bounced the idea around. What everrrrr...

All told, it took about 1 1/2 hours of my boob tubin' time that I'll never ever get back, butcha gotta do whatcha gotta do to try to bring some sanity back to the world, eh?

Saw some cuties I didn't know lived in the neighborhood too.

Caucus Day

What the fuck's a guy to do when he doesn't really like either candidate?

What the fuck's a guy to do when every candidate he chooses ends up dropping out?

What the fuck is the state/party doing sending out absentee ballots for a primary that means absofuckinglutely nothing? That's the one that really gets to me. The waste of time, money, trees, peoples' efforts when they fill them out and return them (provided spouses don't spill wine all over them) and the confusion caused by it all. Does my vote count? Do my caucus efforts count? Who the fuck decides this shit? How? When?

Do I fucking care? Should I fucking care?

Should I just stay home in front of the Hi-Def eating leftover ribs, watching basketball? While I grow more to resemble a basketball?

Fuck it.

Tuesday, February 5, 2008

Hmmm... Quick Question

I just caught a glimpse on the Oklahoma results that showed Hillster with something like 55% and Barack with 31%, so.....

Where are the rest of the fucking votes? ??? Edwards? Kucinich? Gravel?

I can't find anything on google.

They're Okies. Maybe all the kids at Oral Roberts U voted for a 3rd Dub term. yuh think?

Yea Mittens... You Go Girl !!!

Dontcha just love it when some rich asshole starts in with his, "We the people," shit. Just caught a bit of the Mittster's, what would you call it; Victory speech? He won ONE primary today, and that was his home fucking state. Not a whole hell of a lot better return on his campaign dollar than Rudy got, eh?

Biggest thing to me, has been watching the Redneck vote, both red and blue. I'm not surprised that Fuckabee is making a show down there. He's Baptist, although to his discredit, he went to seminary. Hey, I shit you not, lots of genetic nightmares down there really think like that: Preachers who go to school aren't "called." Back to the Fuckster.... he like his women barefoot and at home, su'mittin to their men. Rednecks love sales taxes.. exise taxes.. taxes that basically fuck the poor. Like the Huckafuck they really do think that's fair: "Everone pays the same." Too bad they can't figure out that they're paying a MUCH higher percentage of their blacklung earned wage than their coal-baron boss. In all fairness, I can't do percentages on my fingers and toes. Why else do they like him... Oh... I'll bet he can't name half of the countries on the globe. He might know we're bordered by Canada and Mexico, although I don't know how he explains so many illegals coming across our border with Pakistan...? No shit. What everrrrrr.....

Dontcha love the add of McCain's? The one about how he's more Reagan than Raygun was? My surge, my surge. The true social conservative... Why doesn't he just say, "If you're an ignorant moron, you gotta love me."

Must drive a lot of those creatures down there fucking crazy trying to figure out whether to vote for a woman or a black man. I'm really surprised there are so many people wanting to vote for the two of them. Still, I can't help but find it interesting...: Barack's got South Carolina from the other week, and today picks up Georgia and Alabama. Then Hilly gets Tennessee, Arkansas and Oklahoma. As I write, Missouri is too close to call.

I can't claim that I have any great insight into why things are shaking out this way. Having lived in East Tennishoe (Knoxvoid, and to be exact) for several years, I would have expected a statewide vote of 5-2 or something like that. Maybe they're growing up down there (finally). After all it was 1968 when they all followed the segregationist pied piper George Wallace and handed the Presidency to Tricky Dick Nixon. The first Refuckyoucan Preznit to try to skirt the Constitution. Oddly enough though, they would vote solid Refuck for Prez, yet would vote for Democratic Senators, Reps and Govs. Face it: They vote solidly, anti-civil rights. Anti rights for blacks. Anti rights for women. Anti anything pro-non-white-male.

No shit.... I once asked where I could find brown rice...? I was told to look in the gourmet isle. They also consider Roman Meal to be Wheat Bread. I shit you not. Any way....

That's your Schtooper Toosdee coverage from my side of the black hole.

This Really did Happen. YOWSA! !!!

I heard about this on Stephanie Miller the other morning, but since my cold this past week, my one ear is plugged and the other's not so great, so I wasn't really sure that I heard what I heard. Here it is though, via C&L once again: Ann Cuntner endorsing Hillary. And she looks so fucking serious. Like she could actually means it. Unnnnnn fuckingggggg Beeeeee lievable.

Could this be some Rovian stroke of genius? Like masking Dubya's soulless, heartless, unscrupulous, immoral greed and avarice, behind moronishness? ??? I can imagine the collective groans emitted nationwide by all Hillary supporters... that feeling of fear like the blood flowing out through the soles of one's feet felt by Hillary herself. Even Bill's feeling of helplessness as he realizes that there's no way he's going up that skirt in any effort to discredit the great stick-figure-from-hell. Oh well....

It not like no one never said she was a polarizer. Hillary, that is.

I Was Going to Apologize to Mike Gravel, but

Then I read this posting by JP. For the most part his posting, which has to do with the plight of the migrant tomato pickers in Immokalee, Florida, has nothing to do with Gravel, except when JP mentions the LOW cost of production due to our government supported/legalized slave labor as opposed to the HIGH price of goods at the point of sale. This is the big reason I had no use for Gravel: he was totally ignorant of any basic economic sense.

Last night as I responded to a comment, I mentioned how I once heard Thom Hartmann take Gravel to school. Gravel, like Huckabee, and I believe Ron Paul, want to do away with the IRS and replace it with a national sales tax. (my apologies to any other idiots with the same dumbass notion who I fail to name) I don't remember what Gravel called it, but Huck calls it a Fair Tax. There's nothing fair about it, lemme tell you. Sales taxes are highly regressive: they hit the poorest the hardest, and there's no way to sell them any differently. Doing away with the IRS? It would solve nothing, not to mention that it just won't fucking happen. anyway...

Gravel was somehow trying to get his crazy notion across that taxes are the reason we pay$1-200 for a fucking pair of sneakers made by slaves for Nike. As if somehow that gap between the pennies it costs to make them and the final sales price is all money that goes to the government. Hartmann had to basically spell it out, without the benefit of visual aides (which may have been why Gravel couldn't get the lesson), from costs of production, distribution, marketing, etc, that taxes aren't shit compared to the total price tag. That's all a Refuckyoucan/Conservative propaganda smoke screen. What affects the price of goods is the market: What will the market bear; what are people willing to pay. Nikes made in the US: $100. Nikes made in Asia: $100. Case closed.

Don't get flim flammed on this notion of lower corporate taxes somehow coming back, or trickling down to you in any form other than a big shit on your head.

Now back to Gravel, once again, as much as he was exposed as an idiot by Hartmann, I still do feel that I/we owe him a very sincere apology. The reason being that he was the first candidate to be arbitrarily excluded from the primary debates, and when it happened no one, myself included, seemed to care. I don't remember any of the other candidates protesting.

Gravel was the first step, then Kucinich. All along the networks focussed on their pre-ordained darlings Hillary and Barack, as shown by the timekeeper, Chris Dodd. SO...

Senator Gravel, please forgive me. I should have stood up for you, and in doing so, stood up for democracy. If I and others had, we might now have a different election.

We're Doomed

Serve me a double butt fuck sundae.

Thank you corporrupt media. You did your job well. All you need to do now is sort out which of you need courage, which of you need brains... all of you need hearts. You were all so bound and fucking determined to see this come down to a circus side show, novelty race between a woman and a black man. Lotsa money in freak shows, eh?

Even you Keith Olbermann, for all your raving and ranting against Bush and his crimes and crime syndicate, you couldn't stand up in the smallest of ways and say the name, John Edwards, much less talk about him as a real candidate. Like everyone else you sat in silence when it counted the most. Nominate yourself as worst person in the world, and go back to the sports desk.

Edwards was my last hope. I knew he was a long shot, but other than Kucinich, he was the only one with sensible progressive ideas as well as a realistic view of how corrupt all facets of government have become under Dubya's watch. So once again it's up to us to try to figure out the lesser evil we want running the show: The panty wearing good old boy who will surely govern by focus group? or the naive black idealist that the knuckle draggers will surely assassinate before they allow him to sit in their white house? Another Refuckyoucan? No. I will NOT relive my two Ronald Raygun mistakes, whose eight years set the stage for our present disaster(s). Uncommitted? and hold out for what?

Welcome to pin the tail on the donkey, '08.

And the Games Continue

I have this terrible nasty-assed cold, so I went to bed early last night. I did listen to the SOTU, drinking game at hand, and the Dem response, but didn't get to hear too much of the spin afterwards. One thing I do remember: I heard Tweety talk about the reaction of the Democratic presidential candidates: Hillary and Barack. I looked at my wife and said,

"He didn't say Edwards. He won't say Edwards. Bet you anything Edwards won't be on."

My wife wondered to whom I was listening, so I had to explain who Tweety was and how he said such brillyunt shit as Hillary got elected to the Senate, not on merit, but because people felt sorry for her because of Bill's skirt chasing. That basically, he's a moron, who's somehow convinced his bosses that he's indispensable. I'm sure we all have known someone like that, worked for/with someone like that, but I digress. The wife, does not follow politics like I do, or watch any of the shows I do, but she knew the Hillary claim was BS, which then got her wondering why I would listen to someone so stupid...?

I have no answer, except that it's possibly the morbid curiosity like that which hits us on the freeway and makes us rubberneck a car wreck. There's also the fact that I wanted to hear what Olbermann had to say and couldn't listen to him without having to somehow deal with Matthews as well because of MSNBC's package deal presentation: "One for the Price of Two."

So I wonder this morning... Did Edwards indeed appear on any of the networks?

Well Fuck! Now What?

Kucinich is gone. Thanks ABC, MSNBC, DesMoines Register, and all you Fuckers out there who love the term, "Electable," and love even more to say Kucinich was not. Lemme tell you something...

What makes people electable is not some predetermined set of traits that somehow descend magically from heaven. It's not some crown that some dumbass like Chris Matthews spews out of his ass either. Kerry was somehow supposed to be electable. Yeah, right. THAT worked out well. Obama wasn't electable till, voila, people in Iowa (drum roll please) Voted and Elected (nominated) him.

Electability is really that simple: You get your fat ass up and out of your chair, and you go fucking vote. With enough votes, a person is elected. Why the fuck, do people let asswipes like Matthews, O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage... ANYone in the media, mainstream or otherwise, tell them who is electable and who is not? ??? WHY?

I don't fucking get it. All the fucking media cares about is getting their hands on the advertising bucks. Why the fuck do you think they've let 9u11iani hang around for so long? Not because any one is voting for him, that's for damn sure.

OK, I know Kucinich looks like Little Alfalfa. Fuck that. I was voting for him.

I know he said he saw a UFO and that Tweety shit all over him for it. Fuck that. I was voting for him.

I know he's a vegan. Fuck that. Rack of ribs on the grill, I was still voting for him.

The reason I still wish I could vote for him?

The Summbitch is RIGHT
The first time
On damn near everything I think is important

Patriot Act? Iraq? Iran? Health care? FISA? Impeachment? Trade agreements?

He's right. And he gets shit right the first fucking time.

No need to waffle like Hillary: My vote to invade Iraq was really a vote to send in inspectors. Or Barack: My votes of "present" are really over procedural issues and not a vote to avoid voting. Edwards? Well, to his credit, at least has the balls to admit his fuck ups.

About the only thing I disagree with Dennis about is Ethanol. I think it's totally stupid to use a food source for fuel in gas guzzling cars. Yeah, you lose the farmer vote by opposing it, but you keep meat prices from rising like they have. I guess that doesn't matter when you eat tofu and portabella mushrooms instead of steak. So...

Now What? Or should I say, "Who?"

A long time ago, I did like Hillary. Then she opened her mouth. 35 years experience? Oh pulleaze. If fucking someone who holds an office gives you experience, there's a shit load of wives out there who deserve to be in some sport hall of fame. Calling her out on her voting record is mud-slinging. And there's something honorable about having your spouse lie so you don't have to? I think not. She's really nothing but another member of the Old Boy Network, but in panties.

Barack's one hell of a speaker, but I think he's horribly naive. There is no fucking way the Refuckyoucans are going to sit down and find any common ground other than their own. Cocksuckers like Tom Delay are salivating, waiting for the chance to chew him up and spit him out. I know he means well, but his Politics of Hope are just Pie in the Sky dreams. I wonder if he believes in Santa and the Easter Bunny..?

Which leaves me, I guess, with Edwards.

Don't you dare fucking drop out Jon. I am sick and fucking tired of voting for the lesser of evils.

He Apologizes; Holy Shit

Probably old news, but I just heard it last night from Randi Rhodes. I can't remember verbatim, but he ate crow big time, especially for his bull shit about Hillary -- who I do NOT endorse, BTW -- only getting elected Senator because people felt sorry for her because of Bill's skirt chasing. Before Randi played a recording of Tweety's apology, she went through a litany of episodes of Tweety's belittling of, as well as his gushing and fawning over, chicks on his show. From herself, to Hill to Liz Edwards to Laura Ingraham to, you name her. I don't remember Rachel Maddow, but then as cute as she is, she's openly gay (Does he realize he would just make her more gay? and not convert her?) I don't remember Ann Cuntner being mentioned either, but then she isn't really human, so... would she count?

Ok, but what really surprised me were the examples of man-love. His admiration of Commander Codpiece's aviator package; his admiration of Rudy 9u11iani; his admiration of Forrest Gump Fred Thompson (probably just wants his old lady; must drive him bugshit crazy that an alfalfa look-alike like Dennis Kucinich -- who I DO endorse -- has a much hotter wife.) Next time he's on with Olbermann I'll have to watch his eyes; see if he's trying to look through the desk. Anyway... two things:

I wonder how long it will take Tweety to go back on his word and slam/belittle Hillary or some other woman...?

I wonder if he'll do his fawning over some dude first..?

Experience Counts

Sitting here watching the Mud Chicken Stink Bush Seahawks get totally dismantled by Brett Favre, I can't help but wonder why no one's tried to sign Deanna Favre as their quarterback. With all of her experience and all.

Like Hillary.

Right?
