Bummer

Supposedly The Seattle Times isn't far behind.

Yeah, I know, I can get all the news I want online , but I still like to have a hard copy paper. There are still an awful lot of people who have no online access (or digital cable access), through no fault of their own. Start waving goodbye to the notion of an informed electorate.

You are exactly right. Wait till your power goes off and try to find a news source then. Our power company here in Florida, FPL, now wants a $5 buck increase starting Jan 1 2010. We built this house in 1999 and our electric bill averaged $75 a month, it's now $250. Jesus. I'm going green as soon as the market comes back.

It's only a matter of time now before more news sites start implementing a subscription fee to access their sites.
