Aitch Dub

Where to start with this guy. The Father of Fear-Mongering and Division. Willie Horton anyone? A preznitial campaign where he not only said nothing positive about his opponent, he said nothing positive about himself. This is the guy who turned me off to all things republican. His mythical Thousand Points of Light, Compassionate Conservatism, The Education President... there's a good one.

I was in college when Aitch Dub got elected. I remember him cutting funds for student loans, raising their interest rates and ending the income tax deduction for student loan interest. What a guy.

He couldn't wait to go to war with Saddam. Of course if he had waited, let diplomacy run its course and all that good shit, US approval of Saddam's going into Kuwait in the first place would have come to light. More importantly though, there would have been nothing to distract our attention, even if only temporarily, from the fact that he was totally inept at running the country. "I don't really like domestic policy." I can remember that one just as clearly as, "I'm not prepared to say we're in a recession." I can hear his whiny nasally voice in my head as clearly as if he was standing next to me.

A lot to live down. and then...

He's the son of Prescott Bush Senator, diplomat and Nazi sympathizer and financier. What would it be like to grow up knowing that the guy who held you on his knee made money from slave labor and genocide? Be enough to make you want to live your life for charity, eh? And raise your kid to do the same. You know, defend the weak, leave the planet a better place for...

Oh hell, I can't feel sorry for this old fart. The whole family's a bunch of planet fucking rapists.

UN - FUCKING - Believeable !!!

Watching the vote tally and the God Damned yea votes from the Dems are (for now) actually out numbering the nays.

ONE... refuck voting nay. one. Non-partisan/Bi-partisan my ass! !!!

Ooops... now the dem nays are back on top.

Fuck stain in chief just started babbling.

I need to puke.

Update: I find it fascinating that Ms Titsy Pelosi -- as far as I've seen so far -- has not appeared at the podium.

One Hundred Five Democrats voted to send democracy down the shitter. Treasonous mother fucking bastards.

I'm so fucking mad, I'm damn near speechless.

Hitler Hates Jessica Simpson

You gotta watch this. It is so fucking hilarious. I was about to write something regarding Dubya's State of My Fuckups, or is it his Lies to the Union? Address to Congress tomorrow, and went looking to see if Ann had put up her usual drinking game yet. Lo and behold, I found something better.

So... Do you have a drinking game? Actually, as I remember, Ann's usually involves money, which she then donates to the Wounded Warrior Project. If she does hers again, I'm sure she'll explain. Rachel Maddow usually does one that's purely fun, ie booze only. Do it at home though; not on the road.

I haven't made up my mind if I'm going to try to put one together or not. It might be kind of pointless, since I usually can only listen for a sentence or two before he tells his first lie, and I'm fuming, spewing all manner of invective. Then the wife threatens to take away my teevee privileges. About the only way it could get worse were if the Republican was here, throwing in his bat shit ideas. I wonder who will give the democrats' response this year..? anyway...

Leave a game, or a link to one, in the comments section, eh?

Would Someone Please Suck His Cock? PLEASE?

I've basically been speechless this week, with the never ending stream of White house bull shit continuing unabated. From Bush's Cleveland speech where he once again excuses the whole insurance/pharma cartel from any responsibility over the rising cost and failing coverage of this country's health care system, to his once again, mooning and spitting in the face of Congress by declaring executive privilege in keeping Harriet Miers from testifying. The big question every day seems to be, "Which story takes the cake?" Is it his, AGAIN, declaring executive privilege and denying congress access to documents regarding the Pat Tillman scandal? or is it the scrambling to cover asses after Chertoff's gut rumbled, yet again rewriting the national intelligence estimate's declaration regarding the strength of al Qaida and their roles in Iraq and 9-11?

His lips move, he lies. More distressing, he lies and our beloved free press fails to call him on it, as if it's somehow more treasonous to point out betrayals of the public trust, than to actually do the betraying. Most distressing of all, impeachment is still "off the table."

He can threaten a veto of a provision to lower the cost of his prescription drug nightmare by allowing Medicare to negotiate for lower prices and somehow that's OK.

He can ignore all evidence and link al Qaida with Iraq and with 9-11 and somehow that's OK.

He can declare that we must stay in Iraq to prevent it from becoming a terrorist training ground -- which it became long ago -- while allowing such a training ground to exist unmolested in Pakistan and somehow that's OK.

He can totally turn his back on New Orleans and the victims of Hurricane Katrina and somehow that's OK.

He can create the largest federal deficits in history so he can take credit for cutting them in half -- which he's failed to do, even through smoke and mirrors -- and somehow that's OK.

He can so bully the Surgeon General that he makes him little more than a snake handling tent preacher and somehow that's OK.

He can allow his Vice President to create a new branch of government to avoid any oversight or accountability and somehow that's OK.

He can tap phones and data mine the internet without warrants, out and out violating the FISA law and somehow that's OK.

He can do what he wants, say what he wants, about anything he wants, anytime he wants and somehow it's all just A-OK. When it's all said and done, he'll be able to look in the mirror and say that he followed his convictions. Yeah well, Dub

I'm sure that back in the day, Adolph Hitler could say the same thing.
