Sleeping Joe Lies

I wonder what's going to become of this; if you belched, coughed or farted you probably missed it:

Holy Joe LIEberman, on Meet the Press, this morning mentioned "al Qaida in Iran." Kerry didn't say shit about it and neither did Brokaw. Proof that LIEberman is a Refuckyoucan.

I'm sure this is more than an, "Oh come on... Iran, Iraq, what's the difference? One letter. Let it go." Nope. This is another chapter/excuse for a war with Iran. Fuck Oh Dear, Peace? What's that?

This is how Refuckyoucan narratives start: A "slip" here or there, Fucks News picking up "the question," or the "some people say..." line and the next thing you know there's a manufactured "debate" going on. Proof that bullshit really does make things grow.

Now Hear This

All you pencil dicked boys with man sized dreams. Or is it pencil dicked wannabe men with boyish dreams?

Fuck it.

One of the things that's frustrated the shit out of me since day one with my blog is: How many ways/times can you say the same thing? ie Bush.

Fuck this idea of "bush bashing." There is no such thing. I criticize Reagan for his notions of Government not being able to solve problems when Government IS the problem, but the thing is that in the case of Dubya, Reagan was right: He (dubya) IS THE problem. Without him... we would not have runaway deficits. Without him... we would not have a..game of cowboys and Indians being played out with real lives and live ammo with real casualties..Operation Hammer and Anvil..Operation Plymouth Rock..Operation Lightning..Operation Stinky Linky Log...Oops... that was leaked by a Secret Service guy standing guard outside the shitter. Bashing implies lying; making shit up. When you talk about the cesspool of corruption that Dub has brought about, well, where is the "bashing?"

Anyway...

So easy to get side tracked... hard to stay focussed. Back to the dreamers... These guys for starters:

Elliott Abrams Gary Bauer William J. Bennett Jeb Bush

Dick Cheney Eliot A. Cohen Midge Decter Paula Dobriansky Steve Forbes

Aaron Friedberg Francis Fukuyama Frank Gaffney Fred C. Ikle

Donald Kagan
Zalmay Khalilzad I. Lewis Libby Norman Podhoretz

Dan Quayle
Peter W. Rodman Stephen P. Rosen Henry S. Rowen

Donald Rumsfeld
Vin Weber George Weigel Paul Wolfowitz

Oooh sorry I didn't realize there were some women in there. Whatever you signers of the PNAC statement of Reaganite policy of...Moral clarity...

Iran is T-O-T-A-L-L-Y within their rights to want and pursue a nuke. Why?

DUBYA

If Dubya was not such a warmongerer, There would be no threat to Iran. And no need for them to pursue defensive nukes.

There would be NO Iraq War and no threat of an Iran War if it were not for Dubya. Period.

The question we should be asking is not, Why does Iran want a Nuke? The question should be, Can we assure Iran that W will be gone and soon they will be safe?

And the Beat Goes on

The drum beat for war, that is.

I've been amazed at the commotion leading up to and surrounding Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to the US. The guy's a bit of a loon, but then so's Dubya; what's the big deal? The guy wants to lay a wreath at "Ground Zero," and Rudy G, among others, goes ape shit. The guy's the leader of a country that has officially denounced the attacks of 9-11. I've never heard of him saying otherwise. For Rudy and others to come up with bullshit ideas like physically restraining him, or arresting him if he tries to visit the site, and for them to say this is for "security reasons," is pure lunacy and saber rattling.

It's Iraq all over again. There's really no intent to try diplomacy. Allow Ahmadinejad to place his wreath. It's a gesture. And it's a starting point. Provided you want to see it as such. But no, for Dubya and Rudy and their ilk, it's an insult.

Their attitudes, once again, insult my intelligence.

Bush's Next Bloodbath

Last week, White House spokesliar, Tony Snowjob gets all fired up over how they're beginning a new strategy in Iraq. On Sunday when Lindsay Graham said that the surge had been in place for two weeks -- a Republican week must consist of three months -- I figured they must be trying to reset the clock to give themselves another Friedman or two. Peter Punkineater Pace, then reveals that while waiting for Patraeus to complete his magic by September, he's going over the possibilities of fucking with the troop levels. (I loved his term "plussing up;" so casual. Like adding a shot of booze to a marinade.) But then today he announces dramatic changes in Baghdad and Ramadi, as if someone had waved a magic wand and made everything all hunky dory. Someone decided they needed to leak the NIE that says al Qaida is stronger than ever. Gotta love W's spin on that: They may be stronger, but we've weakened them.

OK. So WTF is going on? I mean really going on? We know the White house LOVES to play the diversion game whenever they get caught or decide to be naughty, and has all kinds of ways to do so. Just about the time you turn away in disgust because they can't find their ass with both hands and a flashlight, they pull some kind of a doozy of a disaster.

Iran. Lotsa talk going on about Iran.

W and the Neo-Cons have had a hard on for Iran for years now. More of his War Mongering Delusions and Words of Mass Deception over Weapons of Mass Destruction. Personally, if I ran a country these days, I'd want some nukes too with W on the loose. Especially if I was sitting atop some oil. (Kazakistan wants nukes now; They're trying to get the technology through a partial buyout of Westinghouse.)

Recently 97 Senators and all but two House members -- Kucinich and Paul -- voted in favor of resolutions/language declaring Iran to be in pursuit of Nuclear weapons and to be engaged in a proxy war against the US in Iraq. This point come out in the Webb/Graham episode and Webb tried to dismiss it as, "a minor clause inserted after a semi colon."

When the fuck will these people ever learn. To the Repugs there is no such thing as a minor clause; Nothing is too small that it can't be built into a mountain if it serves their purpose. So while there's all sorts of debate and deliberation going on over Iraq, even to withdraw the Authorization to Use Military Force, Congress has for all intents and purposes just given said authorization to W to enter a new bloodbath.
