Decision 2012

Knowing that Obama's continuining demonstrations of Wishy-washy centrism on his good days, incompetence on average days, and out and out corporate whorism on his worst days. Or are those his good days? It's getting hard to tell. Oh... knowing that... that all that is going to ensure the end of his prenzitsy after one term, we're left with the question of a choice for 2012. Here it is:

Pac Man for Prez, 2012. (with a h/t to Raw Story)

Good to know our votes continue to be secure.

Good to know we can go forward with confidence with Alvin Greene's candidacy.

What are you going to believe? Your eyes?

Blanched Obama Nuts Updated

So Barack got his candidate through. Blanch Lincoln, refuckyoucan of Arkansas won the democratic nomination for Senate. She did so in true refuckyoucan fashion: Voter suppression and corporate cash. The White House reaction? Full of shit, as has become their fashion.

I went to see Ed Schultz last night, and his first question from the stage was, "So is Barack Obama what you expected him to be?" or something like that. The response was at Best split down the middle if not more negative than positive. Myself? He's what I expected: A Phony.

The Lincoln endorsement, primary and reaction are just the latest in a long chain of centrist/corporatist actions by Obama which all add up to show that he is NOT a friend of Labor, the middle/working class or even the traditional democratic party base. Change? He's changed the Democratic Party into the republicans of the 50s and 60s.

I didn't get to speak at Town Hall last night, but if Barack Obama wants a second term he has two chances: He can either embrace the working class and labor, or he can hope he gets a tea bagger opponent like Harry Reid has.

I haven't liked Obama since he backed FISA and he's done NOTHING to change my mind since he's been in office. He's an opportunist and a phony.

UPDATE: (a paraphrased letter)

I called Norman Goldman yesterday and vented about Obama as corporate Democrat Numero Uno. He encouraged me to go to Ed's gathering here in Seattle and I did, but did not get to speak. Next time I'll go with a camping chair and camp out at the microphone. Anyway....

In his own venting yesterday about Blanche Lincoln, he pounded on the fact that she supported the Bankruptcy Bill during Dubya's Reign of Error. Well, let me ask: Who is the co-author of that atrocity? Let me answer: Joe Biden, Obama's Vice President. Further, who is Barack Obama's chief of staff? Let me answer. Mr, Where-else-are-liberals-going-to-go, Rahm Emanuel, who despises Howard Dean, and was firmly opposed to Dean's Fifty State Strategy, without which Barack Obama would NEVER have won in Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia or Florida.

This is like Dubya's choices of Cheney & Powell, and his second choice for Defense Secretary, Rummy. His first choice was Norman Schwartzkopf. An administration built from the get-go for invading Iraq. And Democrats were still moronic enough to vote in favor of that farce.

I said it yesterday and I'll say it until I see evidence otherwise: Barack Obama is a P-H-O-N-Y !!!!! His support for the FISA legislation proved it. NO constitutional NOVICE would have supported that, much less a "constitutional law professor." Oh well.... Dubya the Bankruptor has a Harvard MBA. So much for our higher education system.

I will give Ed credit for his positive outlook, but in the face of things, it strikes me almost as naivete. On the other hand, the alternative, curling up in the fetal position, doesn't appeal to me either. If Obama wants to be anything other than a one term president voted out in disgrace, he MUST embrace those who voted him in. Little people: The working class; Labor; Downtrodden minorities.

Obama supporters: Don't blame me, or Labor unions, for deserting Obama and the Democratic Party. Blame Obama for turning the Democratic Party into the Republican Party of Richard Nixon. The only thing missing is Watergate.

I remember Norm's quote of Eugene V Debs: Better to vote for what you want and not get it, than to vote for what you don't get and be stuck with it.

We need to free ourselves from Battered Voter Syndrome.

Day of Infamy II

Judicial restraint vs judicial activism. Ah, yes. We've been told time and again now that we can't trust those liberal activist judges who legislate from the bench.

So when the Roberts gang took up "Citizens United vs FEC" naturally they would restrict themselves to the case before them. Right? It would be the liberals/leftist judges -- Ginsberg, Stevens, Breyer, and especially that loose cannon wise Latina, Sonya Sotomayor -- who would seek to reach beyond the confines of the case. Right? They would be the ones to overturn settled law and precedent. Right?

WRONG!

Seems as though the Roberts reactionaries looked at every case BUT the case before them, as they overturn roughly 100 yrs of precedent, and declare that we are entitled to the finest government corporations can buy. Insanity.

No, it's beyond insanity. This is a death sentence for government as we've known it. Remember who appointed this ass wipe. As a reward for coaching his lawyers as they prepared to argue before his former boss and SCOTUS in 2000. Can't get away from that slimeball's legacy.

Now before you go on and say something about how that's a good thing, seeins how government's broken, consider that the last time corporations were in control of things -- the 1920s -- we were able to elect a president and government that in turn shackled them and laid the foundations for a period of stability that only ended with the Reagan policies of voodoo economics with his massive tax cut induced deficits, further fueled by ideologically mandated deregulation induced financial instability. Oh....

I forgot. St Ronnie did no wrong. He's the one who ended the Roosevelt Depression. But I digress....

The Constitution has been turned on it's head. The Bill of Rights has been turned against us. I know there will be suggestions that we amend the Constitution to somehow redefine people or declare that it only pertains to natural born citizens or some such thing. Do that and the literalist knuckle dragging conservatards will then declare that it cannot regulate anything Non Living, Such as corporations.

I guess the big question now is, Who chooses the big cheese? Oil? Insurance? Pharma? Coal?

In-Bev?

China?

Done?

Kinda sorta. I filled out my ballot and... Fuck.

It used to be that a person could just assume their vote would a) be counted and b) be counted as it was cast. Can't assume a damn thing anymore. No matter how many times I double check and see that I'm registered, the way those refuckyoucans steal shit, I still worry that something will happen and on Nov 4, I'll see I've been purged.

Scary what those shit stains have done to make democracy an obstacle course. All in the name of "free and fair."

Hannity & O'Reilly do Cartwheels. w/Update

Hmmmm... sitting up channel surfing and sniffling from my cold last night, I catch a story on Faux News about how a voter registration drive in Ohio got the rules wrong and now 18 voters have cast votes when they were ineligible.

Did the college network Palestra.net catch actual voter fraud in Ohio?

Wanna bet the emphasis stays on democrats? That the story gets spun as a "broken system" and not a "working system" or people answerring to the call from their conscience? Even though people are withdrawing their votes and registrations and:

UPDATE 6:49 pm– apparently not just a problem in Senator Obama’s campaign, check out this (taken from the NY Post dated Oct. 22)…a Senator McCain Ohio communications director:

“…The talks came in the wake of reports that workers in both camps - including McCain’s Ohio communications director, Ryan Meerstein, and Obama campaign worker Jacob Smith - had registered and cast ballots in the Buckeye State, even though they both maintain permanent residence elsewhere. …”

People.... this is Fox.... Ann Coulter's network: "We good; Them bad."

Fuck... The last time we had to make the Cowshit vs Bullshit choice (otherwise known as Gregoire vs Rossi I), we had crazies up here casting votes for dead spouses and kids off at college and shit like that, but was it "voter fraud?" As in some conspiracy to destroy the thread (and that's about all the past 8 years have left us) of democracy? No. It was a bunch of crazy fuckers being douchenozzles and justifying their douchebaggery with bullshitious excuses. This shit doesn't worry me nearly as much as hackable voting machines running on secret code, that can't be impartially reviewed, tabulating votes, that can't be verified.

You know, a dictatorship would solve all these problems.

I'm still not sure this election's actually going to happen.

UPDATE: The problem I see with this issue of challenging voter registration, is that it turns the principles of justice on their heads. What happened to words like: Alleged? Why is it assumed to always be "fraud" which (to me) implies a willful desire to circumvent the law? And why when challenged, is it the VOTER'S responsibility to prove their innocence? ???

If I were challenged: In Florida's purge before 2000, I would have been thrown off, because there are enough letter in the first part of my name, under the standards they used, as shown in Greg Palast's book The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, that match some criminal they had in their lists. Under the rules that were proposed in Ohio, comparing to other databases, or states where voters are required to produce ID with exact matches, I would be rejected because my Driver's License does not include my middle initial like my voter registration does. And my SS card says on it, "Not to be used for Identification," (yes, it's my original OLD one) so could I use that?

By the Fucks at Fox I would be a fraud. But as I said, the worst of all of this is that I have to prove my innocence, rather than the refucks proving my guilt. They want to keep calling on the Founding Fathers, while spitting and shitting on their graves with this stuff.

Fuck them.

Snuffalopollus... the Round Table

Paul Krugman is outnumbered 4 to 1. I'm curious to see just how far the four will go to defend free markets now that they've proven themselves to be a pathogenic fraud.

Take 'em to school Paul.

Seems like they're actually listening.

What I find amazing in one sense , but DUH-ish in another is that in times of Conservative caused financial crises, we ALWAYS turn to solutions that appear or are socialist in some sense or another.

Oh, HEERREE's the kicker: Whoever gets elected is going to have to appoint cabinet members from the other party. That's what was "said." What was meant was: Obama will have to appoint (some) white republicans to cabinet posts in order to appear legitimate.

Now on to Meet the Press, where Bob Portman and Jon Corzine tell the opposite about the two candidates' tax plans; Who's lying?

Brokaw tells an out and out lie, saying that Both Obama and McCain refuse to see any need to prioritize or set an order in what gets tackled when. McSame said he can work on all three at once. Obama spoke about them, One-two-three: Enegy, Healthcare, Education. Brokaw tries to sell McCain through the back door by lumping them together in a rejection of reality.

Hmmm... Brokaw does a sensible thing: He directs viewers to the candidates' web sites to see what both propose for healthcare. He doesn't know? Why won't/can't he say?

Portman tells an out and out lie: Obama's had more negative adds this campaign than any other candidate in history. Portman: Wants to talk about Ayers; refuses to acknowledge McCain trying to distract. Corzine: Brings the focus back to the economy; brings Portman back to talk about the economy (by denying that McCain wants to focus on Ayers...) I gotta give both guys credit though: Neither interrupted the other. Not like Ric Davis did repeatedly with David Axelrod earlier this morning. Fucker would interrupt, then when Axelrod would try to reclaim his time, would accuse Axelrod of interrupting: I don't interrupt you while you're talking (like I'm doing now)

Ted Koppel: Fucker Nails it: We've been living in a credit card economy for years now. <== thanks for agreeing with me Ted. The credit card Refuckyoucans came into their own under Reagan, but one aspect of this credit mess has been the practice of Dubya-ites encouraging people to borrow against the equity in their homes and spend it at Walmart. Fuck, just write a check to China.

STILL more random rants

... well...
You read her yet?

DCup, I mean

Like me, she seems so pissed she can't see straight because of the LIES the McSurge campign keeps spewing while Obama and the dems let them pass. Oh? They call them out you say? Really?

A lie is a lie is a lie.

And there are lies, Damn lies, Refuckyoucan lies and McCain lies.

They are NOT... half-truths... distortions... prevarications...<== Oh yeah, THAT'S real fucking effective. Someone want to introduce me to a christopathic, creationist, knuckle-dragging redneck who knows what that word means?

After ranting about Chinese pickles and applesauce, and how we are now a Banana Republic, I was asked (perhaps rhetorically) what the world would think of us if McSurge was elected after two terms of an enemy of the state being our chief of state. (Yes. Dubya should be tried for treason here and war crimes abroad) I said that the world would wonder, once again, how we could be so god damned fucking Stupid.

I realize that the closer this election remains for longer periods of time, the more money the corporate media will make. I realize they have no interest in the best person becoming president. What I don't understand is how and/or why so few people seem to understand this. I wish the answer was that the polls and stats are just made up Bullshit, but two terms of fucktard tells me that may not be the case.

America needs to hear the word:

LIE

America needs to hear Obama say it.

The refucks, the McCainiacs, Fucks News: Hannity, will continue to lie with no shame, no self doubt, no fear of retribution or consequences until someone, and I don't mean a blogger with a readership of 30 on his best day, squares their shoulders, points to their chest, looks them in the eye and with no quaver in their voice, calls them what they are:

LIAR

There can be no other way.

Until then, they: the Hannities, the Bushies, the McCainiacs, the 3Mers, Palins, and those who follow and admire them, will continue to do what they do best: LIE with a straight face.

Enough!!!

They MUST be stopped

Obama with Snephalopogus -- With an Update

on the one hand, Barack's holding his own and then some.

The problem is that he's talking to Snuffy as if he's talking to intelligent people. and he's being a nice guy.

Basically, he's dealing out facts as if he has the idea that people can make up their own minds.

McCain voted with Dubya 90% of the time, Barack voted over 90% of the time with Dems several years, so "Who's more likely to break with their party?" This is somehow an important point?

If Barack were to break with his party, or what the majority of Democrats believe their party should be, as he did with his FISA stance, he would be WRONG. Barack tried to get Snuffy to see that, but I don't think he succeeded. He made it more complex than it was.

Jesus Fuck George. "Surge, surge, surrrrge... McCain was right. Say so... ADMIT IT..." never mind that we wouldn't have needed a fucking surge if we hadn't invaded the fucking country in the first place. How fucking republican can you be? What a tool. Still pissed because Hillary's not the nominee?

Oooooo.... Look for this on Hannity, if you can stomach that lying fucktard: "...my Muslim faith..." which he said in the context of admitting that McCain himself had not accused him of being a Muslim. Fucks News will love taking this one and twisting it all out of shape.

(commercial break... Aubrey McClendon who helped steal the Sonics)

I admit I haven't seen this show from the beginning, but still, What are we to take away from it...?

"Vote McCain, because Obama's just too fucking smart"? ???
"Vote McCain. He's really not insane. He just sounds that way"? ???
"Vote McCain. Crazy is just his way of being a maverick"? ???

The Roundtable... Finally a smart question from Snuffy: Why do they keep repeating the Russia line? and who's the guy who said this one:

Republicans are good at taking an incoherent stance and constructing a coherent argument...?

McCain doesn't know his party has to change. (they don't have sense enough to know they're wrong) Good one there too. Same guy.

"There aren't enough Republicans -- who aren't exhausted by the last 8 years -- for McCain to staff his administration." Damn this guy raises good points.** All the somewhat sensible people like Paul O'Neill are either burned out and retired or have switched parties.

Hmmm.... In Memorium... And thanks to you George Dubya Bush and your followers like John McCain...

Six MORE people were killed in Iraq.

So Dub could show the world his dick was bigger than Saddam's, and Johnboy could re-fight and win Vietnam.

** CNN's picked this up now as McShame says he's going to put Democrats in his administration. Although McCheese says it's because he's being bi-partisan and finding the best people to do the job. Riiiiight. Face it Johnny... you represent the party of Morons. You can't push science and knowledge and history and common sense away and expect your future generations to become smart. It just don't work that way.

Two cars in every garage, a chicken in every pot and... BREAKING NEWS !!!

This just in:

McStain was a POW !!!! Who fuckin' knew? ???

It's been all over the inter tubes today.

Damn I feel so dirty now that I recognized the fact that he's just a bitter tired* old war mongering phony. Probably been pissed for all these years that he had to shit in a bucket, rather than have a bidet, and eat the same gruel as "regular grunts," rather than chef prepared stuff people of his stature should get.

More condos than he can count.

So what's the big fucking deal, eh? He has a rich old lady; jealous? She has enough spare cash she can buy a second beach front condo when the free-loading kids squat in the first one. (actually, I am kinda jealous of that one, but that's a whole nuther issue)

What legislators and government tit-suckers DON'T have a second home/apartment in DC? Pretty fucking hard to commute from AK or HI or AZ or WA...

I really don't care that the McShames have a shit load of domiciles, spread from here to eternity, anymore than I cared that Jon Edwards earned his way to live in a mansion and spoke out against poverty, or that Al Gore subsidized green power through astronomical power bills while renovating his home to be more green and efficient. (now I DO care very much that Dubya rapes, plunders and pillages the earth while having a show piece house on a fake ranch that he has no intention of using as a "home" when he's finished with his crime spree) What I care about with Ol' Yellow Stain isn't even that he's so out of touch with his own status that he has to refer people to his staff. What I care about is his arrogance that none of it fucking matters to him. Not enough to offer an explanation.

What we have here is a picture fucking perfect example of a Kept Man.

Fascinating symbiosis he formed with a rich socialite piece of arm candy. How "All-American" they are.

If either of them had the chance, I believe they'd both choose Royalty as a career option.

*Actually, I doubt he ever gets tired of war mongering.

Money for Nothing

For the second time in as many weeks, I've told the democratic establishment to go fuck themselves. I am NOT one of the 9% of Americans who approve of the piss poor job congress has done. From their sell outs on FISA, kangaroo kourts in Gitmo and impeachment, to their repeated spineless cavings in the Senate. I have no use for many of those in office now. Last week it was the DNC; this week the DCCC.

While I respect Howard Dean and the work he's done through his 50 State Strategy-- much of it in opposition to Emmanuel and his DCCC who would rather play favorites -- there's no guarantee that my money's going to a quality candidate. There's no chance that Emmanuel will make choices I favor.

I don't have a whole lot to throw around, but what little I do will go to outfits such as Accountability Now and/or Act Blue, or directly to candidates of my choice. Click on the banner in the margin and give what you can, or donate to the true liberal in your local race. Unfortunately we, meaning Progressive Liberals and others who would like to see a return to the supremacy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, don't have a presidential candidate who truly represents us, but we can do our part to take over the congress by throwing Pelosi, Hoyer and their treasonous ilk out on their asses.

I'm not a very happy fucking camper these days.

Define Irony

Dubya...

Who brought us illegal wiretaps before 9-11-01
Who brought us the Patriot Act, which has nothing to do with patriotism
Who brought us Guantanamo
Who brought back waterboarding and other forms of torture
Who beat back the Geneva Conventions
Who illegally invaded a country
Who routinely defies Congress
Who routinely ignores the Constitution
Who cages opposing voices in "free speech" zones
Who requires loyalty oaths to enter his fund raisers
Who allows elections third world countries wouldn't sanction
Who denies citizens their rights to the courts
Who... well anyway. I do want to get to bed tonight

He's criticizing the Chinese...? The ones to whom he sold us...?

Yeah right. Ass hole

Billy and Barack, Sittin' in a Tree?

R-U-N-N-I-N-G ? together? ???

Seems like it wasn't all that long ago that Bill Richardson had his nose stuck up Hillary's skirt as far as Chris Matthews wished he could get his. Like the debate where John Edwards brought up a part of Hillary's voting record, and Hillary accused him of slinging mud. Richardson jumped right in there, ready to pick her up while she stumbled in her argument since Edwards was correct in every respect and she knew she had no ground on which to stand. Even though I don't remember Richardson ever attacking Barack, I don't remember him defending him ever either. So what does the Richardson endorsement reeeeeeally mean?

He believes that Hillary is toast. (or should be) He believes she should step aside for Barack. For the sake of unity and party? I'm not so sure. I used to believe FIRMLY that he wanted to be Hillary's VP, regardless of his saying not. He's no fool; he's been around the block a few times; he can read the tea leaves. He knows that IF he's going to be a VP, it WON'T be with her.

Of course all this wondering assumes that Chimperor Dubya the Nukuler and his sidekick Darth are going to allow elections at all.

Siegelman... Spitzer... Who's Next?

You can go to Greg Palast's site (h/t to fine folks at Crooks and Liars once again) to read the entire story, but think about this tid bit first:

From Eliot's Mess

The $200 billion bail-out for predator banks and Spitzer charges are intimately linked

A note on “Prosecutorial Indiscretion.”

Back in the day when I was an investigator of racketeers for government, the federal prosecutor I was assisting was deciding whether to launch a case based on his negotiations for airtime with 60 Minutes. I’m not allowed to tell you the prosecutor’s name, but I want to mention he was recently seen shouting, “Florida is Rudi country! Florida is Rudi country!”

Not all crimes lead to federal bust or even public exposure. It’s up to something called “prosecutorial discretion.”

Funny thing, this ‘discretion.’ For example, Senator David Vitter, Republican of Louisiana, paid Washington DC prostitutes to put him in diapers (ewww!), yet the Senator was not exposed by the US prosecutors busting the pimp-ring that pampered him.
Naming and shaming and ruining Spitzer – rarely done in these cases - was made at the ‘discretion’ of Bush’s Justice Department.

Or maybe we should say, ‘indiscretion.’

In a nutshell, just as Siegelman was railroaded on a flimsy assed bribery charge, so he would be silenced about Rovian Refuckyoucan election fraud and theft, Spitzer is about to be railroaded on the basis of the outdated Mann Act (thinking with the wrong head), so he will be silenced about the Gubmint's role in enabling the banks to bring about the mortgage crisis we're now experiencing.

Months and months ago, when Gonzo was finally gone from the inJustice Department, I wrote that I just couldn't rejoice. The reason being that in Bushworld nothing EVER gets better; only worse. Sure enough, the Mucous Man has done nothing to clean up the ass wipings he inherited.

I've been pissed about the way refucks like Vitter, DeLay, Craig, Foley, etc can stay in office long after their crimes/charges are made public, and in some cases never be forced to leave office. States are going after DeLay and Craig, but federal charges? Fuck oh dear, no way in hell. Can't touch good ole Diaper Dave Vitter. I guess sitting in a diaper isn't sex, even when you pay a hooker to put it on you, eh? And since DC isn't a state, technically, no state lines could be crossed, and thus no Mann Act Violation.

Makes perfuckt sense to me. When I turn my head inside out. Anyway...

People with a lot more clout and notoriety than I have been saying for a LONG time that the real story behind the US attorney scandal is not how/why the few lost their jobs, but how/why the many kept theirs. Think about that along with "prosecutorial discretion."

and on an entirely different note: anyone know why my spacing changed after the inclusion of the italicized quote? ???

So... Ms Hilly-Jo Lieber-Clint

You endorse John McCain over Barack Obama?

You bring a life of experience; He brings a life of experience; Barck brings a speech..? So in other words: If I don't get the nomination, no one does. Your experience:

At some point in time you fucked the man who was Governor of Arkansas.

At some point in time you fucked this same man who became President of the United States. From what I've read, while this man was president, you slept together in the same bed in the white house.

THAT and a term as senator is your experience. Don't try to bullshit me otherwise.

I'm done with you, bitch. So fucking done. Done to the point where, if you do get nominated, I won't be darkening my ballot circle with pen or pencil. Or blood. oh but it'll be bodily. hint hint.

So what's got me pissed off this time...?

"It's 3 AM and the phone's ringing" First off.....

That phone rings and there's a SHIT LOAD of dip shits answering and recording and analyzing and doing everything but letting whoever's Preznit talk. That got established with Raygun if not before. Hill/Barack/whoever isn't going to even know a call was received until longgggg after the caller's hung up. So we start from irrelevancy, and go where?

Somehow the call puts YOUR kids in mortal danger, and ONLY the answerer can save them. Yeah right. What the add really says -- Are you that fucking stupid that you think anyone with half a brain would think it says anything else...? -- is THIS:

Elect Hillary or your kids will die if the white house Bat Phone rings.

We need more proof that hilly is anything other than what I've said? A good old boy, same-ol-same-ol but in panties? That's right out of the refuckyoucan playbook. End of story.

Granted, it takes a bit of arrogance to believe that you have what it takes to run this country. It's inherent. But when that arrogance goes over into expectation, and a sense of entitlement, well... NO.

I listen to self confessed "good people" talk about the life they deserve. How they should have a house, and.... Nope. Can't buy it, can't have it. Goodness has nothing to do with it. Get a better job. and no, I haven't become a republican.

I'm actually waiting for Hillary to snap. I know she was "the woman behind the man" for ... how many years experience does she have? For all the fuck I know she could have actually been the gov/prez for all those years. Fine and dandy, and all the more fucked up. No way she can come out and say that. But I think her ego demands that in some way at some point she will. And there is NO good time to do so.

Bummer that it ain't 2000 or 2004. I could have voted for her then. But she's talked too much.

Siegelman... Mixed Feelings

So many times I get lazy and fail to watch 60 Minutes, but this past Sunday I HAD to see their story on former Governor and present political prisoner, Don Siegelman. I was extremely disappointed. I didn't notice them even touching on the real issue in the case: The Refuckyoucan theft of the election. It's never been investigated in any real sense of the term, but since Siegelman tried to blow the whistle on it, he was railroaded. So I was pissed as usual, that the media as usual was asleep on the job as usual, and avoided calling attention to the proof of what a Fascist society Dubya has created.

It's been said many times before, by people much more notable than I, that the real story about the US attorneys was not, "Why were they fired," but rather, "What did the others do in order to get to keep their jobs?"

But in a similar vein, it seems as if just possibly the real story from Sunday is the fact the the real story was not told. And that what was told was blacked out in Alabama. Lotsa scrambling and bullshitting going on over the black out that supposedly wasn't. A few minutes ago there were three leading stories about Siegelman over at Raw Story.

I'm not letting 60 Minutes off the hook; no fucking way. Their bullshit about, We'll tell more, if there appears to be public interest." Yeah right. In the same way that Nancy Pelosi's been listening to public interest as she pursues Dubya's impeachment? The same way Congress is listening to us as they ponder an inJustice Department investigation of what went into Roger Clemons' ass cheeks? Sure. Gotcha.

WTF? ???

I haven't posted here since Tuesday? Shit; I'm losing it. Fear not though loyal readers... all 12-17 of you... I'm not pulling another month long hiatus. So...

What was the name of the old TV show, the $64,000 Question? The $64,000,000 Question? Anyway, the big question, MY big question, that I want some wastoid of a so-called journalist/pundit to ask of our bottom-of-the-barrel, weekend-leftover, freak-show-survivor, Preznitial candidates is this:

What will you do as preznit to restore the Constitution and rule of law to this country?

Habeas Corpus. Separation of powers. Three EQUAL branches of government. The Dubster/Cheney/Rove/Yoo idea of the "Unitary Executive Branch." Rule of signing statement / line item veto/preznitial-Decree-from-the-Crapper. Basically, I want to know what Hilly and/or Barry plan to do to undo the damage these crime lords have done to this country.

I also want to know:

What plans do you have for John Edwards in your administration?

I don't want to see him as a VP. I think he'd make a great Attorney General or Supreme Court justice. Nonetheless, the first question is by far more important. I just wonder when the fuck one of those overpaid, overhyped, overpromoted, nimrods is going to have the balls to ask it. And yes, I include Keith Olberman in the mix. And while I'm at it, let's not forget the dollfaced refugees from the beauty circuit. No reason one of them can't ask, and justify all the bitching for equality, eh?

The Plundering of My Virginity or...

I did my first caucus yesterday. Whoopty Fuckin' Do. My precinct shook out pretty much like the whole state did. Of our six alloted delegates, we sent 4 for Barack and 2 for Hillary. I did have some thoughts about being a hard core undecided and maybe that way move along in the process and get to inject an issue or two, like say TRUE universal health care as opposed to the Faux brands out there in Mittsachussetts. Mandated/forced coverage is NOT universal. When it comes time to choose between food on the table or an insurance card in your pocket, people WILL choose to eat, and risk the fines imposed. Kucinich and Edwards had the best ideas, but as I've cried before, they're gone. Anyway...

I went with Barack.

Even though he's incredibly naive, thinking Refuck/conservative/corporate entities actually have any intent of cooperating or agreeing to anything but their ideas lock, stock and barrel.

I hope he proves me wrong. He is after all a very inspiring speaker. Maybe he'll be able to convince some of them that there is an entity out their more important than themselves. That would be the country... this one... the USA... and that perhaps giving up and giving back just a wee tad bit of their amassed fortune for the benefit of that country will in the end return to them with interest. Hop on my knee... story time..:

A couple of weeks before my mother in law's last, we had a guy at work come down with viral spinal meningitis. Now it's viral,so anti-biotics don't do shit for you. You just gotta ride it out. Well, we do have insurance, through the company/union, but we don't have sick days. So... the Mother fucker has to come to work sick, cuzz he can't afford to stay home and get better. LUCkily no one else came down with it, but a couple of us came down with nasty-assed-fucking colds that may have been weakened versions or related somehow. I missed 3 days, and my MIL is gone.

Because Morons like the Republican -- the other brother in law -- and his ilk, believe that ANYthing that goes to benefit the 90% that's in charge of 10% of the country's wealth, is a hand out -- although he's always looking for ways to get his meds for free, huh..? -- we lose shit loads of man hours and productivity because of secondary illnesses. Illness spread by people who can't afford to stay home and get better. Whoa....

oh yeah... caucuses...

Like I say, it was a first for me. Fairly simple really. We started out with 9 out of 72 people being undecided, but in the end they all declared. I think they went about 7-2 or 8-1 Obama. Then we chose real people to be delegates and alternates, with no whining, crying, pissing or moaning actually. A couple of people who offered themselves stepped back to allow some who reeeeeeeeally wanted the positions. Since I was going for the lesser evil, I could not, did not, try to become a delegate. There's a second round of caucuses in the next few weeks to choose delegates to the statewide convention, where they will then choose the delegates that move on the the national convention.

Did I mention that in the meantime we will also have a primary, complete with ballots and Diebold readers. Supposedly don't mean fuckall, but we're having it. Maybe I'll go cast a vote for Kucinich. Several of us actually bounced the idea around. What everrrrr...

All told, it took about 1 1/2 hours of my boob tubin' time that I'll never ever get back, butcha gotta do whatcha gotta do to try to bring some sanity back to the world, eh?

Saw some cuties I didn't know lived in the neighborhood too.

Caucus Day

What the fuck's a guy to do when he doesn't really like either candidate?

What the fuck's a guy to do when every candidate he chooses ends up dropping out?

What the fuck is the state/party doing sending out absentee ballots for a primary that means absofuckinglutely nothing? That's the one that really gets to me. The waste of time, money, trees, peoples' efforts when they fill them out and return them (provided spouses don't spill wine all over them) and the confusion caused by it all. Does my vote count? Do my caucus efforts count? Who the fuck decides this shit? How? When?

Do I fucking care? Should I fucking care?

Should I just stay home in front of the Hi-Def eating leftover ribs, watching basketball? While I grow more to resemble a basketball?

Fuck it.

Where are the rest of the fucking votes? ??? Edwards? Kucinich? Gravel?

I can't find anything on google.
