Chuck the Toad Fox Up

In other words MSNCB's political guru, Chuck Todd joins Fucks Noise from afar by reiterating their lie equating the "Nuclear Option" from the Bill Frist Senate, with the process of reconciliation. He combined this with a "David Gregory" when he "had to leave it there," in his interview with Arlen Specter while he filled in for Chris Matthews as host of Lowball. All with a straight face, just as if he was a refuckyoucan legislator, or directly on the Fucks Noise payroll.

If I was going to hear such horse shit on MSNBC, I expected it would come from Scarborough and his trained seal. The ones who continually spew the lie that we are a center right nation. As well as the wonders and benefits of sending our jobs to China.

Where do we go for journalistic integrity? ??? Todd told a blatant fucking LIE. He knows better. and if he doesn't, he has NO fucking business calling himself a journalist.

Glenn Beck used to work for CNN. Gone.
Lou Dobbs used to work for CNN. Gone.
Chuck Todd still works for MSNBC. Needs to be GONE.

Stewing in Right Wing Juices

No, this is not a posting on cooking. Although I did just buy a book on Rubs, Marinades and Sauces, and used an EXcellent one: "The only marinade you'll ever need." But that's for another post.

Friday morning I was once again engaging in one of my favorite masochistic activities: watching "Morning Joe," with pompous ass extraordinaire Joe Scarborough. One of his guests/participants was pompous wanna-be-Queen-for-a-Day Peggy Noonan, and the two of them once more promoted the bull shit conservatard fantasy that we are somefuckinghow a "center-right" nation.

The evidence is overwhelming:

We have a democrat in the White House. Definitely due to our center rightness.

(Said democrat was "smeared" with the bull shit story of his having the most liberal voting record in the Senate. Wanna comment on that claim Senator Sanders?)

We have a near veto proof democratic majority in the House of representatives. A position gained via several elections. Obviously due to our center rightness.

We had, prior to the death of Senator Kennedy, a fillibuster proof majority in the Senate ( if you count such phonies as Holy Joe Lieberman), a position that was predicted as NOT being possible prior to the last election. Impossible if the nation were NOT center right.

In siad last presidential election previously "red" states, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, and Indiana were carried by Barack Obama. Who... is a Democrat. Proof positive that we are a center right nation. ESPECially these states.

What kind of a nation would elect the first black man president other than a center right nation? Cumon kids.

The same center right nation that "elected" a refuckyoucan who lost in the popular vote. Lets not even get into the facts that he even had help via Diebold and their helpers, his brother as governor of the state in question, SCOTUS and voter roll purges..... Surely those efforts were only meant to make the vote appear close so that we wouldn't look too extremely right wingish.... eh?

And finally -- for me at least -- the reason Obama's popularity goes Down every time he reaches agreement with the refuckyoucans can only, ONLY be because we are a center right nation.

Why not look at (the lack of) Health Care reform. Obama was riding high with approval after his election. One of his platform planks was providing universal coverage. OK... Then he moves -- to the left? -- and rejects the idea of Single Payer Coverage. Naturally his cener right approval goes down. In another move -- to the left? -- away from his previously stated position he broaches the possibility of taxing health insurance premiums as a source of funding any new initiatives. As one would expect, more support from the center right leaves. Then he waffles -- to the left? again -- on whether or not a "public option" should be an essential part of the discussion. Well duh, of course his center right approval will go down.

How much farther to the left will this guy go? Abandon the proposed reincarnation of non-profit coops -- remember the "old" Blue Shield/Blue Cross? -- or a direct tax money infusion to insurance companies as a way to subsidize wishes and prayers that they will lower costs? No wonder he can't gain any hard right support, much less support from the more reasonable center right masses -- that elected him? -- and the majorities in Congress? God damned far left liberal fascists, pushing this corporatist agenda....

I can't even think of anything to say in response to Nonan's idea that the best thing that could happen to Obama would be the election of a Refuckyoucan majority in Congress. You know, a return to power of the party that rubber stamped free spending on meaningless wars in combination with tax cuts and deregulation and raping and pillaging and... You now, a return to our center right roots that have worked So fucking well since Reagan.

So What's the Difference Between Right Wing Loonies and Mainstream Republicans?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Welcome to the fringe Senator Charles Grassley, who now agrees with Sarah Palin as to the existence of, or the intent of President Obama to create, Death Panels.

Sarah Palin has neither shame nor sense nor honor nor even a modicum of common decency. We know this. At least on the left we know this. When she lies, it's all in a day's work. It's expected. A surprise would be her telling the truth, but I doubt she's known any form of that for... who knows. To be charitable: She's crazy as a shithouse rat.

Tell us Mr Grassley, ranking refuckyoucan member of the Senate Finance committee, member of the so-called Gang of Six, working toward a "bi-partisam compromise" on health care "reform," What the fuck is your excuse for your lunatic statements? ???

Every pundit on MSNBC has talked about it this evening, so the good folks at Crooks and Liars will surely post a You Tube clip.

Morning Decision I, II

Fuck Morning Joe.

Watching him this morning and listening to him, and hearing his adolescent sniping at Mika, Obama, and all things not near and dear to his heart of hearts, basically bowing down and worshiping the golden calf of tax cuts, I came to the conclusion that he's an ass. A pompous ass.

The show is much better when he's not there.

I can put up with Mika and Courtney McCain Hazlett. I enjoy listening to many of the guests. I like looking at Erin Burnett. But the Scar? He belongs on Fucks Noise with Hannity and the other conservatards.

That's My decision; #I.

Decision #II isn't one for me. It's for all you GOPers in the Conservative Working Group: Do you REEEEEeeeeeaaallly want to have your face caught on film attending a meeting on economic stimulus ideas where Joe the Plumber is a guest? Not just a guest, but the FEATURED guest.

Who the fuck came up with that idea? ??? Are you sure they're on your side? ???

OK Erin, You're Hot but, Seriously....

I missed most all of Stuffy today as well as Chris Wallace and his Nights of the Dark Table, but I did catch a bit of Meet the Press. Erin Burnett was there, along with Steve Forbes and some Nimrod. No not David Gregory, someone else. Anyway, Erin got talking about the latest $18 Billion of bonuses and tried once again to explain her belief -- because I believe it IS a belief and NOT a fact -- that bailout money is not being spent on bonuses.

For this to be true, there would have to be NO co-mingling of funds. In other words the banks would HAVE money over here, but be broke over there. somewhere.

Let me explain this to you like you're a high school drop out. Because I've had to explain this to a high school drop out in my family. Ahem... Seriously, I'm not the only (step) parent who's had to explain this I'm sure. And DON'T try to tell me how family business is not business business. Money is as money does.

A certain un-named member of this family is ALWAYS struggling with money. Doesn't make he...them evil, it's just a fact. What bugs me is the "I spent my own money..." argument sh...they trot out all the time. The reason they have any money that they can consider "theirs" is that we're paying one or more of their bills, say car insurance or cell phone, or a bill covering a kid expense. Paying that bill frees up money that can now be waste...spent on shoes, purses, baubles and geegaws. We don't pay those bills, they don't have that money. Unless of course they go without a cell phone (with bluetooth), car insurance or...

Very simple.

The banks used money to pay bonuses because we taxpayers gave it to them. It doesn't matter how loudly they argue that they used "our money" somewhere else and used "their money" for the bonuses, it just plain fucking doesn't work that way. Not without using a hefty collection of mirrors with extra dark smoke.

Oh geezuss... a buttfuckoulous festival of mutual hero worship between Sean Vanitty and Puss Limbaugh... There goes my appetite.

Geezuss returns.... I'm kind liking Kirsten Powers right now. I mean the brown eyes/blond hair kinda says that if there's carpet, it don't match the drapes, but she just told Glenn Beck he (and Malkin) sound "coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs" as he talks abut Mexico invading the US if we pass Obama's stimulus plan. I'm not finding a whole lot to argue about there. With what she says, not Beck.

Give a Man a Fish,

and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish...

Can't do that. No rivers in Afghanistan. So,

Teach a man to fuck, or, since he already knows how, give him little blue pills so he can fuck and he feeds you useful information.

Talk about enhanced interrogation.

Watching Alex Witt report on this (a day after it appeared on C&L) ... never mind.

Condoms? Diaphrams? IUDs? Pills? Anything to help prevent women from getting preggers as a result?

Not a peep.

And on a totally unrelated note: If anyone of my loyal dozen or so readers can tell me why blogger doesn't put the spaces in after my punctuation, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of looking like an illiterate doof. I'm not a world champion grammarian, but I do put them in when I compose. I also try not to misspell things incorrectly.

DCup, Thank you Dear, tried to help by suggesting I use Firefox as my browser, but I already do, so... Is it a setting in blogger? ???

So what did we learn this morning? UPDATED

Geez. What are those morons thinking.

I swear "Morning Joe," must be run by a bunch of perpetual teenagers. Scar running off to shop online during a commercial break and coming back late. Mika taking cell phone calls during the show. Courtney Hazlett... they're still trying to figure out how to make her look less squirrely. This time it was glasses.

The woman looks like a fucking squirrel, you morons. With her cheeks chock full of acorns. Short of some major surgery to rearrange her face and jaw, that's just the way it is.

Erin Burnett is still hot enough to make me keep watching though.

UPDATE:

I found it fascinating to hear Erin talk about Goldman Sachs. I'm not sure of the long term significance, (and it sounded like neither was she) but she seems to believe that Sachs will no longer exist in its/their present form. I heard similar things in the past few days regarding Sachs, Citicorp or both, I can't remember. Apparently, Sachs has reached the end of their ability to leverage funds. Basically, they're out of smoke and mirrors. It was kind of strange listening and watching her, as if there were things she wanted to say, but couldn't. Because they were opinions, not facts? because they could have been construed as financial advice and would have opened her up to liabilities? Because she was shocked into silence?

I don't know, but I'm betting on the last. I think she's sitting on a bombshell like say.... Sachs is going to become some sort of de facto Federal Reserve. "THE" national bank of the US.

Makes sense, in a "safe suspicion" sort of way. Paulson's a Sachs boy; he's the Fed Chairman; he's hiding the truth about where he's spending our billions. We know that shitloads are going to those who owe Sachs, but we don't know how much.

Just curious.

Maverick

Apparently,to the brillyunt ones on Morning Joe, this is the reason McCain has had such a fucked up campaign.

Oh Fuck! Peggy Noonan: This has been a nice clean campaign; all about the issues.

The Scar: Two impressive men. "Let the blogosphere spew their hate; let Paul Krugman hunch over his word processor, weighed down by his Nobel Prize. Hateful, hateful, hateful..."

Back to McCain... They're going bonkers over his poor ground game, his lack of organization and how it's all due to his being a maverick. No one wants to help him or work for him because he's a maverick.

When I run into someone I don't want to work with, I usually use other words to describe them: Asshole is one that comes to mind.

Chinese jets? ??? NO they haven't bought out the football team, they plan to build them. Erin Burnett -- who's way hotter than Palin -- said so. I'm not sure I want to fly on a Chinese built jet. Well... how bad can it be? Will piss leak into the baggage area when you flush the toilet? Like in the police academy in Baghdad?

Other than the short celebration, GE/MSNBC gets to build the engines, they all sound like a fan club in mourning. Like after a Seahawk or Mariner game. McCain fans? Sports fans? Not a whole lot of logic behind the actions of either.

Steffalupugus?

No live blog today. Missed damn near everything and everyone. Bummer, eh?

Had to take the 'Stang to the car doctor. AGAIN! Blew a power steering hose last week and fuck me, the damn thing blew again yesterday. Either that or there was a slow leak somewhere for the whole week. Mechanics; damn; supposedly they warrantee their work, but how many times do you take a car back a second time and not get dinged all over again? So...

The end result is that while all the heads were talking, I was oot and aboot. Now I gotta tube the googlenets.

Ten days remain til... Election? or Dictatorship?

Nobody Likes Mika

Today? Every day? Not sure I get the significance of all this, but it's her whine today. has something to do with Sarah Palin's clothing budget. Or the RNC's clothing budget for her. I didn't hear what she said, but she's made the point that double the usual emails are coming in this morning. Look to her to repeat some form of her performance; attention whore.

This is all a red herring. Sarah Palin is an idiot, a dangerous one. Whether you dress her as a hockey mom, or a prime time teevee star, not counting "Survivor," she's an idiot and note worth your vote. Not enough to change your mind about voting McCrazed either. He's crazy enough to avoid all on his own. Choosing Palin was just proof of said craziness.

This is not worth raising my middle finger over.

But in something worth my attention....

David Horsey, once again, has a brilliant cartoon in today's P-I.

I hope this hits the YouTube later today

On MSNBC:

James Cromwell explains and defends the "formulation" and validity of the movie "W". Sheds a bit of insight as to why the little fucktard turned out to be the shithead he is today:

Grampy Prescott was an alcoholic, a fact which was hidden and denied by the family and led to HW's inability to deal with Dubya's lifelong douchebaggery and bullshitiousness.

Dubya grew up thinking his old man was a weakling. Which would explain his fascination with all things Reagan, including his fake ranch in Crawford, where he gets to live out his childhood dream of being a cowboy. (except he's scared shitless of horses)

Some things skip a generation: Dubya is an alcoholic. With a Midas touch that turns all things to shit and dreams of following in Grampy's foot steps and overthrowing the government -- ripping it all for billions to avenge Grampy and enrich his cronies at the very least.

Cromwell goes into his personal research and defends his and Stone's positions and versions of Dubya's life. One book he gave a lot of weight was Kitty Kelly's, "The Family." A book I must admit, has sat on my shelf unread. Chuck Todd tries to shoot down the movie and Cromwell defends their version of history as every bit as valid as Todd's.

I think what we're seeing is that we will forever have to do our own research into fact, as we see the toolishness behind the networks and their spin shows news reports... did I cross out the right words? Finding facts ourselves is a bit harder, since we actually have to work for a living, and don't have the luxury of putting vast resources and time into research. On the other hand, facts have never been more accessible than they are today in this age of the web; as long as free access and neutrality is maintained. Don't count on it though; not in this age of "corporate personhood."

An aside here: I like Mika better when she and the Scar are separated. I can almost consider her a real news person, with a working brain, when she's not doing her patented nods, points and winks, while she schlumps over the side of her stoll in his direction.

More on the Assews Effect w/Update

In comments from my last post, D'cap sent me this link to a Franiam post. The clip isn't really news anymore, but I think it's important to add my continuing vote condemning Matthews' assholish bullshitiousness and fuckstickery. He is one sick mo-fo. Speaking of mothers and fucking...

I think it's obvious that Matthews wants to fuck her, but knows he can't. As with so many people who can't have what they want, he's over compensating and trying to make himself believe that he doesn't really want what he obviously does. He's trying devalue her in other's eyes as a way to convince them that he doesn't want her. I've heard it said that people lie the best when they lie to themselves. Who can say if he's convinced himself. All I know is, he's not convincing me.

Hillie's best strategy, I think, would be to play the innocent married woman card. The "I never know what to do with men who are obsessed with me," card. The "Please Chris, move on with your life and don't make me hurt you," card. He's actually doing more to make her look human and tender than she could ever by herself, or by appearing with her Mom, Chelsea or Bill.

MSNBC needs to get this guy a shrink pronto.

And I don't mean Dr Phil or Dr Laura.

Update: I suppose I should add that Hillary was my second least favorite Dem candidate* -- a position she'd earned -- and now Tweety has me defending her.

*Close call, but I liked her more/disliked her less than Mike Gravel.

Chris Asspews Matthews

I cannot figure out what the fuck MSNBC sees in him. He's thick-headed, buffoonish and as you watch this interview, you can once again see his total glee as he frustrates his interviewee -- Elizabeth Edwards -- by avoiding the real issues, and then childishly branding "trial lawyers" as a "questionable interest group." (I could go on and on about good lawyers vs crooked lawyers, but this post is not about them; it is about Tweety.)

Of course this isn't the first time Matthews has been such a doofus. Back in October, I wrote MSNBC after reading this.

A couple of weeks earlier, Stephanie Miller called him a right wing tool. Bummer that she said she was kidding soon afterward.

And then there's the fucker's obsession with all things Hillary. It's so sexual; the way he has to do his best to put her in the worst possible light at all times looks to me like a poorly masked D&S fantasy. I'm surprised he hasn't been caught in some cheesy plot to steal her panties.

I'll have to write them again, and you can join me by using one of the following addresses:

What a Jerk

My letter to Matthews and MSNBC:

I just want to say that Chris Matthews' conduct including both his choice of questions and commentary regarding Dennis Kucinich and UFOs was despicable. Looking at Matthews, I honestly don't see what your network seems to see as talent. He comes off as buffoonish and stupid more times than not, and last night was no exception. It seemed to me as though he viewed his purpose as, how to make the candidates look foolish, especially in the cases of Kucinich and Richardson. I would have expected such behavior from Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, or any of the other spewers from Faux News, but not from representatives of NBC, which I assume still views itself as a legitimate news network.

h/t to JP for the suggestion to write as well as the email addresses.
